Our missions
The Directorate General of Finance is responsible for mobilising the financial resources needed for Côte d'Ivoire's development, managing public debt in taxpayers' best interests, and optimising State treasury.
Not within our remit
Questions related to taxes or duties
Tax-related questions fall under the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) or your local tax office. Please visit the official DGI portal or use the e-tax platform.
Payment of fines, stamps and receipts
For payments to the Treasury, please contact the Principal Treasury Agency or the General Pay Office in your district, or use the State's electronic payment platforms.
Disputes with a bank or microfinance institution
Our services are not authorised to intervene directly in disputes between individuals and commercial banks. For any dispute, please contact your bank's customer service first, then, if needed, the Financial Services Quality Observatory (OQSF-CI) or the BCEAO banking mediation scheme.
Vigilance and cybersecurity alert
Beware of phishing attempts and scams fraudulently using the name of the Directorate General of Finance or the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget.
Our services never contact individuals directly to offer investments, loans, or to request personal banking details.
Never share your access codes (mobile money or banking) and do not transfer money to anyone claiming to act on our behalf.
