Dr. Tinnon KOROMA is a Financial Services Administrator and a graduate of the National School of Administration (ENA). He currently serves as Director of Project and Programme Performance Monitoring and Evaluation at the General Directorate of Financing (DGF) within the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

He began his career as a public accountant before moving into economic analysis and public debt management, notably serving as Head of the Studies Department at the Public Debt Directorate. Over the years, he has established himself as a specialist in debt management, public policy financing, and the performance evaluation of development projects.

In his current role, he oversees the monitoring of financing mobilized by the State, ensuring that resources are effectively disbursed and translated into tangible results. He leads a department responsible for the entire portfolio of public projects across all ministries and supervises infrastructure projects throughout the country, particularly in the areas of transport, health, education, and economic and social infrastructure.

Each year, physical supervision missions are conducted to verify the consistency between financial disbursements and the actual progress of projects on the ground. This approach helps strengthen transparency, improve the absorption capacity of resources, and enhance the effectiveness of public spending. Ultimately, it aims to ensure that mobilized financing is transformed into tangible and sustainable achievements that improve the daily lives of citizens.

At the intersection of economic, social, and environmental challenges, Dr. Koroma is also interested in emerging issues in public finance, including sustainable finance (ESG), sovereign credit ratings, and innovative resource mobilization mechanisms in a context increasingly shaped by climate change challenges.
